Frequently Asked Questions:
  1. Can I return software? Yes, even after you've installed the software on your computer. Simply uninstall the software and return the complete package.
  2. Can I return embroidery designs? Yes, go ahead and break the package seal. If you don't care for how your new designs stitch, return the opened CD. Simply delete any designs you already loaded to your computer, memory cards, jump drives, or sewing machine.
  3. Can I return cut fabric? Yes. Go ahead. Prewash and cut your fabric. If you don't like how it sews, return it. It's that simple.
  4. Attention PayPal users: If you paid with PayPal on your original order, a credit card will be required for an exchange order. We will refund your PayPal account for the return and charge out the replacement/exchange order using the credit card you provide.

Returns & Exchanges:

If you have damaged or defective merchandise:
Please contact our Customer Service Department at 1-800-245-5116 or custserv@nancysnotions.com from 8 a.m.–5 p.m. Central Time, Monday–Friday so we may send you a replacement product.

For all other returns or exchanges:
Please contact our Customer Service Department at 1-800-245-5116 or custserv@nancysnotions.com from 8 a.m.–5 p.m. Central Time, Monday–Friday to obtain a return authorization number.
  • A return authorization number (RA#) is not necessary. However, having a RA# speeds up the processing of your return or exchange.
  • Send returns via UPS, FedEx, or First Class mail. Nancy's Notions is not responsible for lost returned packages.
  • Shipping and handling charges will not be applied for an even exchange of the same item. However, shipping and handling charges will apply to exchanges for new items.
  • Refunds:
    • If your original order was paid by credit card, a credit will automatically be applied to the same credit card.
    • If your order was paid by check, a refund will arrive in 1–2 weeks after processing. The check will be sent from our parent company, the Tacony Corporation in Fenton, MO.
