General Shipping Information
Packages are shipped in 1-2 working days. During our peak seasons, such as Christmas, packages may take 3-4 business days to ship. Once shipped, please allow up to 14 business days for Standard Delivery. For faster service, select our Priority Delivery (3-7 business days), Next day (1 day) or 2nd Day (2 days) service (additional ship charges do apply).

USA Standard Shipping Rates & Information (N1) (Allow 7-14 business days)
Applies to each “Ship To” delivery address within the USA, APO/FPO, Guam, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. NOTE: Orders requesting Next Day or 2nd Day delivery must be received at Nancy’s Notions no later than 11:30 a.m. for shipping the same day.

Priority, Next Day, or 2nd Day Air Express Delivery Rates
Contiguous USA only; cannot ship to PO boxes. Items with “Shipping Restrictions” cannot ship using Express Delivery services.
Priority Delivery Rates—Standard Shipping + $8.50 [N5] (Allow 3-7 business days)
2nd Day Delivery Rates—Standard Shipping + $25 [N3]
Next Day Delivery Rates—Standard Shipping + $55 [N2]

Canadian Shipping Rates & Information (N4)
Add $5 to the above Standard Delivery Rate. You are responsible for applicable duty and tax charged by Canadian Customs. All prices in US funds.
Packages will be sent First Class Mail unless size prohibits it. We will then ship Fed Ex. Express Delivery. 2nd or Next Day not available.
Customer is responsible for all applicable government taxes, duties, custom fees and/or broker fees.

International Shipping Rates & Information
All packages are shipped via US Postal Service, Air Mail. ACTUAL shipping rates will be charged. Actual rates are based on the weight and/or size of the package. You will NOT see the shipping rates as you are checking out on our site. The rate is determined when the package ships. Some countries have a size restriction, please be aware of your countries limitations before ordering. Customer is responsible for all applicable government taxes, duties, custom fees and/or broker fees.

Back ordered items will be cancelled unless delivery is expected in a day or two. We may hold your order, pending delivery of back ordered items, in an attempt to ship as much merchandise as possible.

Items with SHIPPING RESTRICTIONS will be cancelled from your order. This also applies to any electrical items such as irons.

Uninsurable Countries
Nancy’s Notions makes every attempt to package merchandise for optimum protection. However, if your country is uninsurable by the US Postal Service (see below), Nancy’s Notions will not be responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items; Nancy’s Notions will not refund money or replace merchandise at no charge if you live in any of these countries.

When you place an online order, you automatically accept the responsibility for lost, stolen, or damaged merchandise shipped by Nancy’s Notions®.

Why do some items have a Large Item Delivery Fee attached?
The large item delivery fee is attached to items our shippers consider “oversized” or “overweight.” These items cost more to ship. The fee is above and beyond the standard shipping rates. During our free shipping offers, the large item delivery fee still applies unless otherwise noted. In the catalog, the large item delivery fee is designated in parentheses behind the price of the item [ex: $125 ($15) the item is $125, large item fee is $15].

Why do some items have Shipping Restrictions?
Some items have shipping restrictions attached to them. These items cannot ship via Express Delivery (Next/2nd Day Air), nor can they ship outside the contiguous USA. This may be due to their size, weight or content such as aerosol, flammable, combustible products, with the latter having strict shipping regulations attached.

Will I be charged shipping on any backordered items?
Shipping is charged in full with the initial shipment. Items shipping after that will not reflect a shipping charge.

When can I expect to receive my order?
Packages are shipped in 1-2 working days. During our peak seasons, packages may take 3-4 days to ship. Once shipped, please allow up to 14 days for Standard Delivery. Next Day Air and 2nd Day Air orders must be received by 11:30 a.m. CT for the order to ship the same day. If received after 11:30 a.m., the order will likely ship the following day.
Exceptions are: special order items, drop ship items; they can take 2-8 weeks for delivery.

How long does it take to receive my drop ship items (merchandise shipped directly from the manufacturer, such as Koala cabinets)?
It can take up to 8 weeks for some drop ship items to ship. However, in most cases it only takes 2-4 weeks. Most drop ship items have shipping restrictions attached. Please read the product page closely to verify.
