Double-knit interlock Double knits are woven with two yarns and two sets of needles to create a more stable
fabric, which looks the same on front and back. Double knits retain their shape, and work
well for tailored garments. Choose double knits for jackets, pants, skirts and dresses, or
when you want tops, t-shirts, and sleepwear with a denser weight and no see-through. |

Rib knits Rib knits are made from two types of stitches, knit and purl, that create visible vertical
ribs on both sides of the fabric. Rib knits have considerable crosswise stretch, but
minimal lengthwise stretch. Use it for ribbing, cuffs, tops, jackets, leggings, and other
form-fitting garments. |

Single knits Single knits are made from a single layer of fabric, providing a lighter weight and more
fluidity in clothing. They have a definite right and wrong side, and will curl toward the
right side when stretched and released. Choose single knits for tops and t-shirts,
dresses, full skirts, wrap garments, wide-leg pants, and sleepwear. |
