Make it easy on your eyes

To reduce eye strain, make sure you have at least twice as much light for sewing as for casual reading. Choose a variety of general overhead and localized lighting with a shade. Place your light where it will best illuminate the project you are working on. Use natural spectrum lighting to easily match thread to fabric.
