Nancy's tips for successful hooping
  1. Adhere Hoop Grip Tape to the outer edge of your inner hoop. This keeps your fabric taut in the hoop to eliminate puckers and gathers in your fabric.

  2. Add a Comfort Grip to your hoop tension screw. This small foam grip makes tightening and loosening so much easier, and more comfortable, on your hands.

  3. Print your design template from your computer onto Translucent Foundation Paper sheets. The see-through paper allows you to clearly see your embroidery blank underneath to ensure correct placement of your design.

  4. Tack your design template in place using Sewer's Fix-It Tape, and it's easily removed without residue when you're ready to embroider.

  5. Finally, line up your outer embroidery hoop and center your embroidery blank on Nancy's new No-Slip Hooping Mat. Add your inner hoop and gently press it into the outer hoop. The textured surface keeps your hoop from sliding around on the mat, and keeps the mat from sliding around on your work surface.
