Make a gridded design wall:
Cut 1-3/4 yd. of Quilted Iron Quick Fabric, and 1-7/8 yd. of Gridded Flannel Fabric.
Layer fabrics together, pin together with curved basting pins and a Kwik Klip, then sew bar tacks with matching thread.
Complete your design wall by creating a rod pocket and attaching to the top edge. Finish outer edges by zigzagging on a traditional sewing machine, serging edges, or binding using your favorite technique.
Make a solid white design wall:
Cut Quilted Iron Quick Fabric 44" x 63" and White Flannel Fabric 44" x 67".
Layer the Quilted Iron Quick Fabric and the White Flannel Fabric, right sides together. Sew around sides and bottom. Trim corners and turn right side out.
Press under and fold 4" extension at top to form rod pocket and stitch down. Edge stitch around design wall, and bar tack to hold layers together using matching thread.
Optional: Cut 2 or more pieces of Velcro One Wrap Ties Tape and wrap around the rolled-up design wall for storage or when transporting your design wall to class. Your arrangement will stay securely in place.
