It works for making double turned-up 1/4" hems on tea towels, dresser scarves, table runners--not to mention curtains, place mats--pretty much anything needing a long straight hem. Makes deep hems on curtain bottoms SO easy to do, so quick. You can steam the turned up edge right on the metal ruler, no problem, so your edges are perfectly straight with a sharp fold--really a professional finish. I do love this!"
