Friday, June 7, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, June 8, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
In this two-day workshop, you’ll learn how to use different presser feet on top-of-the-line serger and embroidery machines. Learn valuable techniques such as: two needle cover stitching narrow left, chain stitching, three thread flatlock seaming, and more. Plus, you’ll use different embroidery threads and stabilizers as you stitch out two embroidery designs and an appliqué design. Then learn to combine all these unique techniques to make a one-of-a-kind bag. Discover new ways to add a magnetic snap closure, a back zippered pocket, and beautifully braided handle loops used to attach the acrylic handles. Plus, you’ll view a mini sample trunk show of other Serge-Broidery projects made by Sealed with a Stitch.
Workshop includes goodie bags, lunches both days, machine use, snacks, door prizes, thread, kits, and pattern.
