Make a tote bag for the farmer's market or the grocery store from broadcloth, canvas, or denim. If your fabric isn't quite heavy enough, simply add interfacing. This tote folds up to a compact size which can be stored in your purse or car so that it's always handy!
- You will need 1-1/4 yd. of light to medium weight canvas or denim fabric and two 1/2" buttons
- Finished size is approximately 14-1/4" L x 13-3/4" W x 7" D
- Pattern includes cutting layout for both 45" and 60" wide fabric
- To make four totes, buy 5 yards of 44" wide fabric or 3-1/2 yards of 60" wide fabric
- Optional: one sheet of plastic canvas if you prefer a sturdy bottom for your tote bag
- Optional: 1-1/4 yd. 45"-60" wide fusible interfacing
